Komodaa: Eco-Friendly Online Fashion Marketplace
Komodaa is an online fashion marketplace that aims to address the never-ending problem of women everywhere: what to do with all the clothes they don't wear? The platform is designed to make it easy to buy and sell pre-owned wearables, with a focus on sustainability and reducing waste. The app is currently available only for Android devices running Android 4 or higher.
The platform is dedicated to promoting an economic lifestyle by reusing items that are no longer needed and turning them into cash. Users can buy stylish and affordable clothing while also finding others who share their taste. The goal of Komodaa is to reduce consumerism and protect the environment by returning excess clothing (new, like new, second-hand, and handmade) to the consumption cycle.
Komodaa accepts clean and new or second-hand clothing, books, and personal care items, such as cosmetics and hygiene products. The app has received several accolades, including being listed among the top 10 startups in Iran at the Seedstars competition in Switzerland, winning first place in the annual innovation and entrepreneurship competition at Shiraz University in the M-commerce category, and achieving the top rank in the Dmond Fashion event in Tehran and the second rank in the Dmond Expo event in Tehran.
